Why Turtlehouse?

Turtlehouse was conceived as a result of the belief that too little time, planning and consideration was given to a home before it was put on the market.

We know that the most important aspect of your home’s presentation is the photography. Making fantastic images of interiors is a skill, a combination of the right equipment coupled with a knowing eye. It is very easy to take amateur photos, and there are companies whose approach is to turn up, whatever the light or weather and snap away.

A period of time is needed if good quality professional images are to be achieved and some thought needs to be given to their production.

Consideration towards your property’s presentation may be an important element prior to photography. This we can advise on at our first free consultation.

We also believe that most properties benefit from elevated photographs, either used as the lead image or as complementary images to conventional photos. Elevated photos are often taken with too much emphasis on height, when the correct approach is to capture the best image possible for the property. Elevating the camera should enhance the photographic appeal and not become a roof survey or a showcase for the neighbouring houses. 

The Law at present requires that the HIP and EPC are ordered before marketing can commence. However, later this year (2009) the Government will introduce the next phase requiring that the HIP and EPC have been delivered before marketing can commence.

This fulfilment of the changes the Government have introduced, will cause delays when deciding to sell your home. By instructing Turtlehouse you will already be prepared. When you decide to proceed with your Estate Agents, they will then be able to commence marketing immediately.
